Everyone loves Bobbitt Williams, and whatever she endorses, friends follow. A longtime supporter of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County’s Big Canyon Spyglass Hill chapter, she created what she calls the “500 Club”fundraiser. Members of the chapter and their husbands pledged $500 and added another $500 as FOB (friends of Bobbitt) to attend a festive dinner soiree at the home of Frank and Virginia Buccellain Huntington Harbor. Champagne or kumquat cocktails were offered and Frank, the consummate host, proposed a harbor cruise in their boat, “Coral Queen.” With tempting guitar stylings by Michael Cladisand Bill Williams(Bobbitt’s husband) dueting on “King of the Road,” it was a memorable affair. More than $14,000 was netted for the music programs PSOC provides for children in Orange County.
